How We Started
Miss Amelie Gourmet is a boutique family owned business which began in the thick of the COVID pandemic. The Little and Myers families launched Miss A Gourmet Pty Ltd in conjunction with the owner of the reputable Wodonga restaurant Miss Amelie. This helped the restaurant weather the COVID storm. Miss Amelie Gourmet is now a separate business with three upmarket cafes located in Albury, Beechworth and Wodonga. Our state of the art kitchen is located within our Wodonga store | Wiradjuri Country. Our speciality is our range of award winning gourmet pies. Miss A Gourmet has since won The Best Gourmet Pie in all of Australia in The Official Great Aussie Pie Competition 2022. In ”Australia’s Best Pie” Competition, 2021 and 2022, we were awarded 14 medals across gold, silver and bronze categories.
In keeping with building stronger communities, 35 staff members were hired along with a host of trades people and local businesses. The Shed at Number 6 Michael Drive Wodonga was transformed into a world class facility.
By August 2020 Miss Amelie Gourmet's vision of customers enjoying fine dining in the comfort of their own homes, became a reality.
Miss Amelie Gourmet was born out of the need to diversify and pivot in adverse situations. With the application of skills in a different direction coupled with the entrepreneurial flair of the Little and Myers families, the journey began.
